Build Your Own Apps with AI. No Coding Required.

There's a growing expectation that founders can prototype their own ideas. This course teaches you how.

3-week cohort for founders, PMs, and marketers who want to stop waiting on developers and start shipping.

This isn't a shortcut. It's a real skill that compounds.

What You'll Build

Three real apps. Each one more complex than the last. All of them yours to keep and use.

Week 1

Personal Landing Page

A portfolio or 'link in bio' style site with contact form and analytics

Perfect for: Establish your online presence, test your positioning

Week 2

Customer Feedback Tool

Collect and organize feedback from users with email notifications and a simple dashboard

Perfect for: Validate ideas, run user research, gather testimonials

Week 3

Your Own App

Build the app you've been wanting to create—your MVP, internal tool, or side project

Perfect for: Finally ship that idea you've been sitting on

3-Week Curriculum

70% hands-on building, 30% concepts. You learn by doing, with just enough theory to understand what's happening.

Week 1: Foundations & First App

  • Set up your development environment (no prior coding needed)
  • Understand how AI coding tools actually work
  • Build and deploy your first web app using Claude Code
  • Learn the basics of prompting for code generation

Week 2: Building Real Features

  • Add user authentication and databases
  • Connect to external APIs (payments, email, etc.)
  • Debug when things go wrong (and they will)
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback

Week 3: Ship & Launch

  • Polish your app for real users
  • Set up hosting and custom domains
  • Add analytics to understand user behavior
  • Plan your next iteration

What You'll Walk Away With

  • 3 working apps you built yourself (and can show off)
  • A repeatable methodology for starting, unblocking, and shipping
  • The confidence to tackle your next idea without hiring anyone
  • A network of other non-technical builders
  • Lifetime access to course materials and community

Who This Is For

  • Founders who are tired of waiting on developers to test ideas
  • Product Managers who want to prototype features before writing specs
  • Marketers who want to build landing pages and internal tools
  • Anyone who tried Lovable or Bubble but got frustrated and wants more control

No coding experience required. If you can write a clear email, you can learn this. But you shouldn't be scared to learn something challenging.

Why Claude Code, Not Lovable or Bubble?

No-code tools are fast until you hit their limits. Then you're stuck. Claude Code is harder to learn, but it forces you into the craft—you'll understand what's happening, not just click buttons.

No Walls, No Limits

Lovable and Bubble limit you to what they've pre-built. With Claude Code, you can build anything you can describe. Custom features, unique workflows, integrations with any API.

A Skill That Compounds

Every app you build teaches you something new. After this cohort, you'll be faster and more capable with each project. No-code tools don't teach you—they just do things for you.

You Own Everything You Build

Your code lives in your repository. Move it anywhere. No monthly platform fees eating into your runway. No vendor lock-in.

Why a Cohort, Not a Course

You Actually Build Something

Not tutorials you watch and forget. You'll ship 3 real apps by the end—things you can show investors, use at work, or launch to customers.

You're Not Alone When You Get Stuck

AI coding is powerful but confusing at first. When something breaks (and it will), you have live sessions and a community to help you debug. No more Googling error messages for hours.

Small Group, Real Attention

20 people max. Everyone gets their questions answered. We review your projects. You learn from what others are building too.

Built for Non-Technical People

No assumptions about prior coding knowledge. We explain everything in plain English. The goal is for you to be dangerous, not to become a software engineer.

Who's Teaching This?

Abhishek Ray

Founder, Opslane (YC S24) · Ex-Robinhood Engineer

I've spent the last year building AI-powered developer tools and teaching non-technical founders how to use them. I know exactly where people get stuck—because I've helped dozens of founders get unstuck.

Before starting Opslane, I was an engineer at Robinhood. I know what good software looks like—and more importantly, I know how to explain it without the jargon.

I built Opslane and Codient—tools that help people build faster with AI.

Common Questions

Do I need any coding experience?

None. Zero. Zilch. If you can write a clear email explaining what you want, you can do this. The AI handles the technical parts—you just need to be clear about what you want to build.

What kind of apps can I build?

Landing pages, internal tools, simple SaaS products, dashboards, forms that connect to databases, email automation tools—basically anything a solo founder or small team needs. You won't be building the next Instagram, but you can definitely build the MVP that gets you your first 100 users.

How much time do I need to commit?

Plan for 5-7 hours per week: 2 hours of live sessions plus 3-5 hours working on your project. The more you put in, the more you get out. Most of your learning happens by building.

What if I can't make the live sessions?

All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. You can watch on your schedule and ask questions in the community. But live is better—you can ask questions in real-time and learn from others' questions.

What tools will I need?

A laptop (Mac, Windows, or Linux) and an internet connection. We'll help you set up everything else in Week 1. You'll need a Claude Pro subscription ($20/month) which we'll walk you through.

What if I get stuck?

That's what the community and live sessions are for. Post your question, share your screen, and we'll help you debug. Getting stuck is part of the process—we just make sure you don't stay stuck.

Is this like Lovable, Bubble, or other no-code tools?

No. Those tools are fast until you hit their walls—then you're stuck rebuilding everything. Claude Code forces you into the craft. It's harder to learn, but you'll understand what's happening, not just click buttons. You'll own your code, avoid platform lock-in, and build skills that compound with every project.
